Fixed points for weak contraction mappings in complete generalized metric spaces

Abstract


In this paper, a generalized metric space is defined and we prove two theorems which assure the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for ( )-weak contraction mappings and ( )-weak contraction mappings in complete generalized metric spaces.
