Abstract

Congestion is an important aspect of economic conceptsand data envelopment analysis (DEA) such that in recent years, specialattention has been for mathematicians. Several models and methodsare introduced for measuring congestion in DEA. In this article, we willpropose a new approach for evaluating congestion in decision makingunits (DMUs) by weight restriction using common weights based oncomparison of inputs. The proposed model for measuring congestionwill be shown by examples.
