Abstract

Fuzzy distance measure is one of the most useful tools in applications. Many distance methods have been proposed so far. However, there is no method that can always give a satisfactory solution to every situation. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to determine distance between two fuzzy numbers. Finally, some numerical examples demonstrate the advantages of this method.
