A method of weighted residuals for solving fractional boundary value problems
Abstract
In this paper, we proposed an approximation scheme for solving boundary value problems of fractional order with a finite element called the method of Weighted residuals. The fractional differential operators are taken in the
Riemann-Liouvill and Coputo sense. Numerical examples are provided to show that the numerical method is easy to apply and computationally efficient.
